Republican Strategies for Victory in November

Mark your calendar now and plan on attending the Bulverde Area Republican Women (Bar-W) meeting on Wednesday, July 16th, at 7:00 P.M. at the GVTC Auditorium. The July program will feature Hans Klingler, the Director of Communications and Political Operations for the Republican Party of Texas (RPT). He will provide a message that will inspire us to achieve Republican victories in November as well as offering his insight into the recent RPT Convention activities.

Hans Klingler began his political career in 1981 as a volunteer for then Texas State Senator Dee Travis and the Texas GOP. From there he went on to work for the RPT among numerous other Republican endeavors to include running the first statewide race by a Republican for the Texas Railroad Commission in 1987 and serving as legislative aide to several house members as well as the West Texas Regional Director for United States Senator Phil Gramm in 1994 and as Senator Gramm’s the field director for Senator Gramm’s successful reelection bid in 1996. He then served as the political director for Governor Perry’s successful bid for Texas Lieutenant Governor in 1998 and continued on through then Lieutenant Governor Perry’s first legislative session. Prior to joining the RPT, he helped build a successful roster of corporate and political clients on behalf of Jim Arnold and Associates, a public affairs and communications consulting firm in Austin, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. He is a national lecturer on political campaign management and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University.
