BULVERDE REPUBLICAN WOMEN HOST COMAL COUNTY REPUBLICANS AT SUMMER SOCIAL

            Plans are well underway for the Bulverde Area Republican Women’s (Bar-W) Summer Social on Saturday, July 17th, at White Dove Meadow Ranch, 5643 Arroyo Luis, Bulverde.   The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. and promises to be an enjoyable (and delicious) event!   Our hosts for the evening are Hazel and Buzz Roman.   To make the event even more enjoyable, other local Republican clubs have been invited to join us—Canyon Lake Republican Women, New Braunfels Republican Women, the Republican Club of Comal County and the Garden Ridge Area Republican Club.             

          The event is open to the public and spouses and significant others are most welcome.  Please bring a favorite hors d’oeuvre or dessert to share.  Beverages will be supplied by the Club.    

          The Bulverde Area Republican Women is a dynamic, growing organization within Comal County.  With the exception of July, their monthly meetings are generally held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the GVTC Auditorium.   The focus of the organization
is to provide information to members on the local, state and federal level regarding current legislation, candidates and elected officials as well as other pertinent topics of  political and community interest.   The organization is active in community service, supplying dictionaries to all local third graders, providing three college scholarships, school supplies, books to the local Library and sending letters and care packages to military personnel.  More information on the Bulverde Area Republican Women is available at the website www.bar-w.org  by calling Fran Carlson at (830)438-7053 or Geri Becker at (210)378-5825.

The Bar-W meets the third Monday of each month starting in January 2010! at 7:00 P.M. at the GVTC Auditorium on FM 3259.

These meetings are open to the public. You are invited to join us at 7:00 P.M. at the GVTC Auditorium, located at 36101 FM 3159 (just north of Hwy 46).
